I was at a funeral a few years back for a fairly famous Canadian Chinese.. during the election run up when Mr. Singh's predecessor gave the Libs a real run for the money.. I sat beside the (white for context) pastor that attended the service.. We discussed the NDP leader Mr. Mulcair.. Pastor says.. I could never vote for a man with a beard ... LOL (mine) .. stupid him ? sure.. now add a Turban.. People are dumb'

Now Canucks like to think of themselves as singularly non racist .. but that is not true in my experience.. but Canucks talk a good game... We are certainly FAR FAR FAR less racist than our neigbours to the south I would say in my experience.. and CERTAINLY FAR FAR FAR less than when I was kid... again in my experience...

I was on the ETR extension a few weeks ago and 8 bikers came up on me in club regalia.. not 1%ers .. just a bike club like I would be in.. No helmets they were Sikhs.. So tell the poor EMS guys that need to scrape up their brains off the pavement that it is a good idea... Helmets are much better as they keep the scrambled brains in a much more manageable contained space .. much easier to cleanup..

Helmets are not really that effective whether ski racing (experienced) or on a bike (motorcycle) .. also experienced.. except as low speed... then sure the Turban is likely OK too :))

See I can be ludicrous too.. and similarly off topic... just my point is true :))

As an aside.. Mr. Singh IMO easily acquitted himself the BEST of all the candidates.. Surprisingly well to many if you listen to the pundits and wanna be digital Jesus'

I posted my comment on Mr. Singh's performance earlier on SI .. so AS PER USUAL.. I am bullshit free zone... :))
