Does anyone care to comment on whether a company like Maxtor that is quite successful in bringing out a drive program is likely to be able to repeat on the next one? Its not reallly clear to me how a company suddenly gets execution right after doing so poorly. On the other hand, it seems that once you get it right, you should be able to repeat on the next generation.
