I agree with you, I don't see why people are paying $30 for MCRL.

It's P/E is very high (current is 51.43) compared to other's in the industry. It seems like there is room for growth for SMTC and the other semi manufacturers, or else MCRL will probably keep coming down. Given a choice, I think I'll choose the first option.

Your earlier comment that DSL may become the standard instead of cable modems appears to have been correct. Have you looked to see if this is a potential future market for SMTC? Is DSL (ADSL, or otherwise) a pure digital technology, or is there an analog component to it?

I'll look around, I think the DSL market may be a good growth area. This may be especially true for small regional carriers, who like early ISP's were able to secure a nice geographical territory before larger companies moved into the industry.

Where has your cat been, I haven't seen her lately? :o)
