Donald Trump has been recklessly spiraling out of control all day long. He spent a cabinet meeting spewing deranged conspiracy theories and accusing his adversaries of having made up a key passage of the Constitution. Tonight he appeared on the Sean Hannity show and went even more bonkers. But there’s no place Trump goes more berserk than on Twitter, and tonight he managed to pull off a doozy.

Donald Trump just retweeted Donald Trump’s butt. We’re not sure how else to phrase that. Trump retweeted a tweet from the “@DJTrumpsButt” Twitter account. We checked the internet archive, and this isn’t an instance of someone playing a trick by changing their username after Trump retweeted them; this account was called “Donald Trump’s butt” at the time Trump retweeted it. In fact the account’s bio says “I am
@realDonaldTrump’s butt. Whatever he says, it’s really me that’s saying it. Follow me, or I will nuke you!” Take a look:






As a reminder, Donald Trump is – for the moment at least – the President of the United States, and this is what he’s choosing to retweet. His decision to retweet “Donald Trump’s butt” tonight comes after he retweeted a fake Jon Voight account last night that spelled “Jon” wrong, and after he made up a fake cabinet member named “Mark Esperanto” yesterday morning.
