I paid about $300 an hour for plumbing work the other day. Not sure what the plumber's cut was, but probably a good chunk of that. Yet every kid I know has no interest in becoming a plumber or electrician (don't want to get their hands dirty or work up a little sweat). Instead they want to go to college, get in debt, and then struggle and hope to land a $25 an hour desk job.
