In case anyone is wondering why LCAV jumped a quarter point on 1/21/98, the Wall Street Journal had this:

LCA-Vision shot up 1/4, or 18.2%, to 1 5/8. The Cincinnati chain of laser-eye surgery centers said it expects to report that its fourth- quarter revenue rose 78% from a year earlier....
