Would that be approved by the US govt?! We believe there are several Chinese companies would be ecstatic to partner with INTC and take over their NAND operations. Seems unlikely to me. At least, if they are on their toes! Micron should object to it at the very least. Maybe that is why Micron hasn't bought back shares over the past few months--they are husbanding their cash to take over Intel's NAND operations. That would make sense to me, it would give them some added scale.
