E. the c.call was interesting without exuberance. Kinda like a "matter-of-fact" type presentation of here's what we're doing, here's how the future looks. The momentum's building, accelerating nicely. Nice anecdotal evidence (Wilf mentioned that in the last few weeks the number of calls he's getting from CEOs of OEMs re: accelerating portions of their orders to meet demand has gone up dramatically). No SEA (non-Japan) effect. Large volume designs coming on stream. Just in time for Gresham ramp. Well positioned in DVD, DCAM and FibreChannel - networking as a whole excellent. If there are no more idiotic squabbles about DVD LSI should zoom once those orders come pouring in. PC DVD ramps at end of Q1 98. So all in all a good l/t positioning c.call. N/t the flat revenue and flat earnings in Q1'98 may impact stock.

Ouch that was an IOM brick! What happened... checking news - Earnings downside surprise... Looks like IOM pulled a Q1'96 LSI over you guys... Well best of luck. Get up early. I'll be watching...
