Crude Oil

I found out from someone in the industry that the main issue with crude oil if micro-analyzed goes back to the currency problem in Asia.

It was explained to me that the suppliers of CRUDE will only except US$ as payment. Therefore with the currencies devalued against the US$, the price of CRUDE has risen dramatically in the local currency.

Im no expert here, so I hope it relayed the info correctly.
