CNBC just completely garbled IOM earnings rept, gave the wrong price for recent high and said the stock closed way down without noting that drop was in after-hours action. These people set the lowest possible standards for themselves and consistently fail to meet them. Of course there was not even a hint that earnings were up sharply from last year. BTW, seems to me that IOM didn't miss their number; the analysts missed their number. As far as I know, IOM doesn't predict earnings. Do any of these analysts ever get fired for off-base predictions? BTW again, anyone here know which job actually commands the top rung on the prognosticating career ladder: stock analyst,
point spread guy in Vegas, psychic hot-line person???
