In many cases you are very deep and wise, Koan. So is everyone here.
However, when you say, for example, Republicans/conservatives are always bad and Democrats/liberals are always good, it is like christofascism -- there is no room for listening or discussing with any space for growth or self-examination of assumptions. Democrats and Republicans, like families and personal life experiences, have gone through many cycles over decades.
I do not subscribe to us/them thinking.
Or me right/you wrong. Man/woman. Republican/Democrat. Left/Right. IMHO, binary thinking is obsolete in a "quantum" mindful reality. (And later, probably beyond quantum and incomprehensible currently.)
So I am sort of binary about binary thinking; that's a bug not a feature. I'm a little embarrassed. The reason RW Republicans are not in Sioux Nation has to do with the common incivility and trolling that poison discussion, tolerance and fun. That's a feature here, not a bug.
Trump's behavior is inside all humans. Even the late great Martin Luther King and JFK had a dick-side. And great women are capable of beautiful and shitty too. Just sayin'. We must illuminate everyone, every human, by a broader multi-dimensional light. OK, maybe not McConnell, Giuliani or Cheney. I have to think about that. ;-)
