I keep telling you Asia will not be an issue? OH my! Are you sure you are not reading my posts, address to somebody else? Cut the crap! Ah I know you want to claim the credit for being right again. No problem you can have it. But, before I agree let me ask you a couple of questions. Did the economy here suffer a bigtime loss yet as a result? Is the US in recession, yet? Would you agree that the answer to both questions are "NOs." The fact of the matter is, in spite your negative views, the USA continues to have low interest rate (the lowest it's been in 25 years, lowest unemployment in many years, much lower budget deficit, 15-20 million jobs have been created in the last 4 years, stock market with impressive gains year after year, though it may be pause, pullback, but in the end it goes up again. Am I worried longterm? NO Should I be worried short term? A little bit, but not enough to stop me from continuing to invest in good solid companies.

Up to now the scary effect of Asia on the US encomy are just exaggeration from people like you. Yes, it will affect the US economy in a way and certain companies with big exposure there may suffer momentarily, but the drop may probably happen from company to company.
The problems at the White House may worsen the situation before it gets better depending on the outcome even here, but believe me Qdog, ASIA or coutries in Asia will make it, they always do. It may take awhile but they will. Exports to Asia represents very little of the US GNP. So, what's the big deal?

You mention MSFT, don't you know that the company bits Wall Street estimates? Where have you been? This company has always been cautious in their projection eversince. But, the bottom line is the company's earning is still up.

Finally, I believe I told you I won't respond to your old age tantrums, if you can do the same for me. Obviously, despite your claim, you continue to read and respond to my posts. You seem to enjoy it. So, what do you want to do with it? Please decide.

P.S. As I said before, I'm not really that big in monitoring the overall markets, my long term focus is with individual companies that I invest in. So keep your wise posts coming, but please avoid thrashing those that are not in agreement with your pessimistic views. I'm still young and can wait for years to benefit from my investments if I have to.
