Harper had the Northern Gateway line approved to waters edge. Negotiations were ongoing to compensate Native groups for crossing their lands. It could have been had for a few pennies based on flow. But the liberals, Greens and NDP supported by Obama and his counterparts objected and killed it.

Had we gotten the line through and started receiving world price for energy. The additional moneys and work force taxes could have gone a long way in supporting education and health care and research, that seems to be dear to the majority.

I realize Blk Swn you are on the same page as my self and understand the country has it's flaws from other boards past. I would say WEXIT is an option for betterment. Not necessarily a must goal. All that is really desired is to be equal. Not considered slaves to a central hierarchy. In order to affect such the west first must garner attention to the matter in a serious manner. If the threat of separation is not a serious approach. I don't know what would be.
