Western Canadian uranium is scratched out of the ground, concentrated and shipped east for processing. If it was mined in Texas 75% of the jobs would not be exported to Oklahoma for processing. This isn’t for one unique occurrence, the largest and highest grade uranium deposits on the planet are in one small basin of western Canada. Gates and Bezos are spending tens of millions looking for cobalt and nickel in the same area.
