Dear Sir,

I would like to apologize for your frustrations regarding withdrawing funds from your account. We did have some problems during the first half of the month with our new funds request program. These problems have been corrected, and will not continue.

This morning, I investigated your situation, and our records show that your initial request was made on 1/21/98. On 1/21/98, it appears that your request was rejected due to insufficient equity and resubmitted on 1/22/98. On 1/22/98, your check request was approved and was sent via overnight mail.

You should be receiving your check today. I will call you this morning with the DHL tracking number in case there is a problem with delivery.
If you have any other questions regarding your funds request, please contact our customer support staff at 1-888-GO-DATEK or fundsout@datek.com.

Sincerely,
Jeff Kosarin
Director of Cashiering
