Another couple of points:

Re: Risc V

A) AMD's little foray into ARM servers (unsuccessful, bad timing) shows that they're not bound by the x86 envelope. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to take another crack at an alternative ISA at some point in the future. It's just another type of chiplet after all, that would nevertheless be in a unique position to ride the value-add coattails of the rest of AMD's chiplet architecture...

(OTOH I've said it before and I'll say it again: Intel can NEVER break out of x86 without turning into a different company. They are shackled to their cash cow. WHATEVER they do, GPUs or otherwise, it all has to come back around to selling x86.)

B) Do not forget the innovations in the pipeline that the consoles and Exascale are literally banking on. These innovations will perfuse the consumer and server product lines.

"Race on Sunday, sell on Monday" -- And right now AMD is dominating these races.
