I am familiar with that right wing mindless selfish retort. You folks seem to have a tenuous grasp of the needs and requirements of a healthy society and the importance of a democracy.

The right wing ideas lead to chaos and a Lord of the Flies society as we are seeing now.

So you are fine, so am I and all of my clan, but we worry about the homeless, the poor and the people in need. We worry about kids trying to get an education and the sick who need medical care.

We worry about people besides ourselves. We are not so selfish and are willing to share.

And we know a society should address those needs.

I/we liberals do not want those things only for ourselves, we want them for everyone, but especially those in need. The liberals, all in all, are usually pretty well off as most of us are educated and make good livings.

I do not want to live in a society that teaches a sociopathic social philosophy which is exactly what you are advocating.

I don’t want treats or treatment by any government, what you don’t understand is you are “We The People” that means you can go out and treat yourself to whatever you can pay for. You come across like the stone-age lunatics in this Star Trek episode that got the preamble completely ass-backwards.
