M Subj: Chantal website Date: 98-01-19 23:52:29 EST From: SundialMan To: PACKRATCAT Frances and Mathew: I have no acct. at SI but was reading your post there on the Chantal board on Silicon Investor and I can explain what is going on with the website - another different kind of disapointment and misunderstanding. Perhaps you would like to paraphrase my e-mail and post my remark. This current website is not a forward thinking act by Chantal Pharmac. Chantal is a very common French woman's name and this other woman simply took/registered the name first. In other words, Chantal Pharm. was slow and did not reserve the easy to remember site name. If Chantal Burnison wants to get this site name back, she will probably have to pay alot for it (money the firm doesn't have that much of), as American Express paid when someone beat them to the punch. But Chantal Burnison and her public relations firm should have known better to register this name earlier because there are literally tens of thousands of Chantals in France and she had to act fast enough.
