Hi, Michael -- Market tanked, but was already well on its way due to the oil crunch and attendant inflationary fears. Recession in 74 (the year I gradjiated collitch) hurt a bunch, but had little to do with Nixon's rapidly escalating legal problems, IMO. Jeff
