Janice, the way I understand how it went off is Tripp was going to testify that she knew of the Lewinsky affair. Tripp called Lewinsky to tell her that,so that she would be prepared when starr supeaoned her. I think she just got scared after that and needed to talk to someone. Your right though, she could have just kept quiet, but we don't know yet, Lewinsky may have some other proof of the affair that she handed over to Starr. Michael
