The only 'Deep State' on this planet is headquartered in Beijing. — Poor Emperor Pooh Xi is their captive, made to say things like a puppet, even though he's nominally the Chief of China's Propaganda Unit. The term 'Deep State' was first used in Turkey in the 1960s to describe how certain families used their relatives in bureaucratic positions to control events in Turkey. More recently the term 'Deep State' was adopted by China's 'Deep State' in their propaganda efforts to create a false narrative about the United States and more recently by Russia to help elect their asset Donald Trump. Where you live In Mexico, you talk about the "Las Mil Familias" the thousand families who have always controlled Mexico for their personal benefit - which is far more like the desperately corrupt city of Hong Kong than China, which China's 'Deep State' is steadily taking over and replacing with their own corrupt operatives.. As bad as 'the thousand families' are, I'd recommend Mexicans like yourself try to make sure your country steers clear of China, or you could all end up as lunch for the 'Deep State' like Hong Kong is right now.
