Camelcamelcamel.com is an amazing Amazon assistant website! Essentially, I tell CCC what I want to buy on Amazon--by copying the link to the specific item on Amazon--and I set a maximum price below the current price. CCC sends me an email when the price falls at or below my price. I put a couple of kitchen toys on it a few months ago and forgot about it. One of them was a KitchenAid stand mixer attachment that I didn't really need but that I wanted--if you cook, you'll know what I mean. The retail price is $189, and it was usually selling on Amazon for $129/$139. I gave CCC the link to the item, and they showed me a historical price chart that showed the price never falling below $129 . So I set the price at $112 and last week I got the email from CCC that it was $99. I bought it for $99 (free ship of course), which was way below CCC's historical lowest price. Yippee! But it gets better: this morning the attachment is for sale on Amazon for $179! It took me awhile to get the hang of CCC, but now is the perfect time to ask CCC for alerts on upcoming Black Friday and holiday deals. Happy shopping! }=>----------->>>>
