Did the early Christians support the evil rulers who were killing them?

John the Baptist was beheaded by Herod Antipas for criticizing his marital sins (which didn't include sex with a porn star or grabbing women's pussies). Shortly after, Jesus left Galilee when the Pharisees warned him Antipas was planning to kill him too. Did he or Jesus support Herod Antipas?
