Tom Joseph? @TomJChicagoMore 1 Trump could never handle a Senate trial. His only move is to do a quick resignation & get a pardon b4 Pence himself goes down. It may be too late. Jennifer Williams, a Pence Senior Advisor is testifying on Thursday, which could immediately implicate him in extortion of Ukraine. [ Doesn't matter, Pence just has to be President long enough to issue a pardon. There will be no pardons for anyone else in the Trump Crime Spree. Manafort, Flynn, Barr, etc etc etc. ] Congressional Rs are getting a hard lesson- there is a high price to pay for defending an extortionist, especially when the extortion is used to throw the 20 election. The House thug team defending Trump will drag the entire party down w their antics. Watch for Rs to split off.
