Robert,

I think your points are valid. What I was trying to explain is that I am becoming convinced that what we are seeing in Asia currently is only the symptomatic fever that will culminate with an all-out bout of financial "bubonic plague" when investors and depositors in those countries realize that their financial status can, in fact, get worse.

The only reason that the US stock market is still "hanging in there" is some kind of false hope that they can contain the Asian Flu and its impacts on our economy. What will happen when the realization comes that Asian banks and exchanges are woefully unprepared to deal with those infamous "zeros"?? Now I don't expect absolute panic there until 1999, but then again, if people realize that their computer systems will effectively be useless, I believe confidence will further erode.

Granted, my scenario is drastic, but it is based upon the opinions of some individuals who are aware of the current status of Asia Y2K compliance, some of which are public comments, and some of which are facts that I have picked up from private communications.

However, if I see KEA blow out earnings estimates or if they forecast even faster growth, I always reserve the right to change my opinion.... <wink>

I certainly like the price action of the company thus far.... :0)

Regards,

Ron
