The threat of North Korea used to be countered with the triple team of Japan, South Korea, and the US. Trump, in attempting to turn all US military into mercenary forces, has caused a split between South Korea and Japan, and now threatens to get the US troops removed from South Korea.
Who could love this more than Kim Jong un, Trump's love letter pen pal. The president of South Korea has naively longed to unite the peninsula into one Korea and with Trump's help, may just accomplish that goal, with Kim as the leader of the expanded government, with a deadly force facing Japan.
Allowing the Russian overrun of Ukraine, giving up Syrian territory to Turkey, allowing Iran to expand it's nuclear program, and now the potential of losing troops not only in South Korea, but also Germany and all NATO countries has me wondering if Trump were a Russian agent, destroying the US from the inside, what exactly would he do differently?
I expect Putin to force Trump to recognize his make believe "lover", Chairman Kim, as the legitimate ruler of all Koreans. |
