Going by retail price it looks as though they are comparable in specs except for RAM, though I have no idea which iteration of the Core i7 chip the rumored upcoming 16" MBP might use.

The PC laptops are less expensive by several hundred dollars even at the high end, but that is not a surprise.

Current MBPs ship with a minimum of 16GB RAM up to 32GB configurable, but like always, expect to pay through the nose for additional RAM from Apple.

Also, the PCs will normally always have more ports and more options than Apple offers, with MBPs currently shipping with only 4 USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) ports. It will require the use of dongles or a dock to get the full complement of ports taken for granted on PC laptops.

I don't have time to read though every review, but if those machines truly offer a relatively seamless macOS experience without too much hassle, then by all means, go for it.

I'd love to hear about the experiences of anyone using them to run macOS, especially if they setup a dual boot situation with Windows 10. Best of both worlds.
