Everything is mixed up.. The ski hill where I ski 45 min north of Montréal opened for the season yesterday .. That is early... last season was early... Cold in Toronto again.. got my garlic just in time.. two weeks ahead of normal planting... got burned last year with early cold.. will do it a week earlier even next season...

Minnesota same.. Canadian prairies frigid.. early ski season...

OTOH.. glaciers increasing in Antarctica due to increased snowfall... relax freezer dudes.. That means it is getting warmer there.. does not snow much in a frozen desert unless temp goes up...

The poles will always suffer the temp extremes and the closer to the equator.. the seal level extremes..

NASA satellite infra red has temp up about 2 degrees F since 1880 ? climate.nasa.gov Not exactly burning down the house..

These links are interesting..
en.wikipedia.org Axial tilt or obliqueness is decreasing.. ie more perpendicular to orbital plane.. ie.. more direct rays from sun especially noticeable at pole... non issue at equator..

arctic.uoguelph.ca nice simple visual

The story seems a whole lot more complicated than CO2 emissions .. or Solar minimums..

to say we are all gonna burn or freeze seems overly simplistic to me... too many crazy things happening,,,

Maybe the electric generators are trying to corner the market and drive out other energy sources.. then wrt pricing... the sky is the limit... Now that is overly simplistic LOL but owing to the nature of humankind... not impossible :))

I still like Greta.. I certainly admire her pluck...
