That is not the same thing as hearing it in person. Not the same thing as the president's defenders questioning these partisans. Not the same thing as president's defenders calling witnesses. And not the same thing as having this testimony appear live BEFORE being screened by hyperpartisans like Schiff.

This is why it could never be done this way in a court of law.

It is essential to determine whether there was corruption that led to Hunter Biden's employment at Burisma (which there certainly would appear to be). Because if there was, then there can be no substantive allegation of any kind of corruption on Trump's part. Since Trump's first responsibility would be to prevent the Biden corruption from proceeding. Conveniently, Schiff has managed to avoid any questions on these topics.

You cannot level accusations against a person and the refuse to hear defense testimony. That's the bottom line.
