>> A subject of an investigation does not get to decide whether or not it is a witch hunt or sham, although, of course, he's entitled to his opinion.

>> A subject of an investigation has no control over the process except, perhaps, that he may be able to negotiate some considerations. A subject of an investigation cannon call witnesses although he can suggest them to the investigators or suggest to them that they make public statements.

Why are you supporting an inherently unfair process? That's rhetorical. I know why you are supporting it, which is the same reason Bentway and the rest are: Your primary concern is to bash Trump, make sure he isn't re-elected, and justice is an absolute tertiary interest to you. No different from that of Adam Schiff.

I think those of you who so conveniently have left the rule of law behind will not like what you've created.

You're all cutting off your noses to spite your own faces, I believe.

As to your comments, calling this an "investigation" is pretentious. It isn't an "investigation" to call in a few partisan individuals and allow them to read their opinions for a fake record in which public exposure is highly restricted and limited to those who favor prosecution. I understand the false narrative that this is equivalent to a grand jury but it isn't. It is designed to taint public perspective with the hope that will taint the ultimate jury pool. This is why grand jury proceedings are secret and the prosecutor cannot disclose hearing material.

You don't leave the country and operate outside the Constitution just because you are the subject of a grand jury finding.

Your thinking on this is as far from that of a civil libertarian as I could imagine.
