You would have people go to government for other people's money, so that you don't have to give to charities. Are you even paying taxes any more, or just collecting SS?.Anyway, there are places for government, the private sector, and charitable organizations. I don't much care whether the government gives a family a housing voucher, or a Christian plutocratic oligarch gives the Carters and HFH money to build a house to give to a homeless family..
