It isn't a sortable database, but dbc.com when you get a detailed quote, lists the last 30 day average volume under "ratios and statistics at a glance". What I do is get an investor's business daily about once a month and write down the stocks that are currently trading 750,000 shares or more per day. I then add them to my Windows on Wall Street database if they aren't already there. I don't include any stocks trading under $4.00 even. dbc.com also gives you the closing price for the last day's trading. The alphachart site will give you historical closing prices by highlighting the price bar you are currently interested in.
