Mayor Pete with a black VP- like Andrew Gillum- might be able to do it. It's a long road ahead yet- but I would argue 1. both have penises (yay! the US loves a penis) 2. Mayor Pete sweeps up the middle/conservative dems- of which there are plenty and Gillum brings out the black vote (because while the black vote might not like Pete's sexual orientation, they're not going to ignore a black VP) and 3. They're both really interesting men who don't make a lot of mistakes (or so it seems thus far from what I know about them.) But hey, who knows?
