Just to be clear, it is not just that you could be allergic to tic bites, which is certainly possible, but that they transfer proteins into you which depending on what they had sucked on before and your genetic makeup will cause you to have an allergic reaction to something else.

In my case I got allergies to Mediterranean herbs and spices. Taking NSAIDs will make you more sensitive. There are documented cases where people became allergic to red meat.
