There are a lot fewer poppies nowadays.. Cherry's observation was accurate.. but unfortunate.. as it focused on recent immigrants... and likely that is a community where it is less apparent.. My observations tell me so... I am sure in his milieu they are still de rigeur.. Go to a Toronto bank.. and white is the least visible teller colour (is that politically incorrect to say :)) .. which melds well with many communities... makes folks comfortable.. I will say hard to find a bank teller not wearing a poppy ...

I am a mix.. I had two uncles in WWII.. One came back and founded a biz.. the other.. came back crazy... I buy my poppy.. I always lost it :) I have a new trick for not losing it .. :))

No poly signs.. a waste :))
