Green Oasis Environmental, Inc. Agrees to Fuel Purchase Arrangement
PR Newswire - January 23, 1998 13:10
CHARLESTON, S.C., Jan. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Green Oasis Environmental, Inc. (OTC: GRNO) announced today an agreement with a Charleston based fuel distributor that grants to the distributor a right of first refusal to purchase the Company's ASTM #2 diesel fuel for distribution and blending with other fuels distributed within the area. Separately, on January 14, 1998, the Company announced that its permitting consultant had met with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) in Columbia to review the requirements associated with the Company's request to increase the Charleston plant's permitted capacity from 250GPH to 1,000GPH. William D. Carraway, President of the Company, stated that "the right of first refusal agreement with an established distributor will potentially provide an outlet for the plant's present and future diesel production capacity. We realize it will take some time for DHEC to review the necessary permit request to increase production, but we now have the potential outlet in place. The operation of the plant since installation of the Ingersoll Dresser pumps in December has provided the Company with needed operating data, history, and experience, in order to demonstrate commercial feasibility of the technology worldwide." The Company's patent-pending process is designed to produce marketable fuels from waste oils in a closed-cycle, one-step process. The Company manufactures equipment for its own use and also markets to others.
