Check this one out, P-Com (PCMS), a manufacturer of cell phone network access systems with a lot of exposure overseas. Stock hit bottom in Dec '97 and now starts to move up based on a few good recommendations. PCMS's PE is 44 while PWAV's PE is around 10. So I venture to guess that in a month from now, some upgrades will fly in for PWAV and the stock will start to move up. I check the PWAV chart and news and the day when Soundview upgraded PWAV from Hold to Buy on 10/9/97 was the day when PWAV started the free fall from 39 all the way down to 10 today. So I tend to do the opposite of what those analysts are recommending. When nobody wants the stock, that's when you want to get in. When recommendations start to flow in left and right, that's when you should bail out.
