All, have some experiance with activated charcoal( easyonthecommentsas I smoulder). A relative has an industrial process company. The charcoal is readially available in one yard boxes. Also, in a company called Ionics in Watertown, Massachusetts, they have a "Silver Lined" charcoal which is said to purify water better.
