On this thread I had suggested a few weeks ago that that the violent protestors (aka rioters) were mostly from tier-1 schools (universities and high schools) Message 32358832 , and last week additionally suggested that we are close to peace returning to the streets Message 32418999
I shall stay with those two suggestions.
(1) In the meantime, the i-am-not-afraid-to-die types have apparently decided they wish to continue to kill, and kill again.
The violence must stop, and rule of law must and shall triumph. The police must be able to do their job. The police capability and capacity for endurance so far exemplary.
We are not afraid of the police. All those who are, stand up and be counted.
We are afraid of the lawless petrol-bomb makers.

(2) The People’s Liberation Army lads just super, volunteering to help clean up Hong Kong, and rectify some of the damage done against the rule-of-law terrorists, in gym clothing, clearly not armed, not looking for any fights, and truly not afraid to die. Super..
In the meantime, street cleaning is very good optics, almost as good as those pretty girl marines guarding Fiery Cross atoll in the south china sea by tending to greenhouses.

(3) The kibitzers would likely spin a narrative describing how the silent majority are exemplarily cleaning up Hong Kong only to be able to reign by destruction at night time.
Of course just because the narrative is suspect the doesn’t mean it would matter to the truth, that the majority of Hong Kong, however polled post manipulation, are fed up of the violence and destruction, and are expressing themselves by cleaning up, at risk of being murdered by way rocks, arrows, petrol bombs, and metal clubs.

(4) The I-am-not-afraid-to-die (implication: i-am-not-fearful-to-kill) types are confessing, apologizing even as they are burning, looting, maiming, and killing, thinking that they are doing the rest of us a favor we had not asked for

(5) Speaking of terrorists the world over, they make bombs, and their administrators must have either turned a blind eye, or been cowed into silence. Whatever the case, shall be clarified. Whomever funding such activities are liable for damages and prosecution.
(6) Wonderful HK shall emerge freer, and stronger, with all getting the message they needed to get.
