Leland - Nice work on those OEX calls. Oct 1 rise in OEX certainly had me faked out. I'm not following individual stocks at this point. Keep us posted on how your system is doing. I use completely different indicators.

OEX looks to be holding up on fumes to me with the very weak tech stocks today. I don't believe OEX can go up without the tech stocks for very long. This relationship between tech stocks and OEX seems to surprisingly strong and is what I use more than any other indicator.

Also see www.briefing.com for a good commentary on the market conditions and interest rates. They are however more bullish than I am right now.

We are also due for a quarterly decline over earnings jitters. To me the sooner it takes place the lighter the decline will be.

I'm also wary of Hillary jitters as Clinton's agenda seems to be getting greater acceptance. Interest rates are the wild card; the way we are going now the market may even develop a perception that the fed's holding interest rates too high and will damage the economy.
