Thanks Bob,

I've seen that tiller and from all I gather, the tiller is probably the way to go.

beets and radishes...hmmm.....I have a dozen deer in my back yard every day/night and they won't touch carrots or cabbage. But the miserable little bastages ate my blueberry bushes to the ground and almost got my mulberry bush.

Time for me to start eating them. Unfortunately can't shoot in the middle of my plan of homes so to the woods we go.

I'll rent a tiller in the spring and see how it goes. I don't think I"m gonna find anybody wanting to walk behind my little tiller for 1/5 acres. Imagine our grandparents who used to turn an acre with a shovel. They had to, or they starved in the winter. I miss the old days.

The original food plot was clover and ryegrass. It all turned to briars and other weeds. I love beets.

Shootie
