Bob has provided amazing info on this thread. It's what convinced me this was a good long term stock for my portfolio. I go through all my stocks in my retirement acct once a week, and put stop loss sells in at an area I consider a breech of support, so the sells are automatic. I think try to identify where it might trade to, and I put automatic buys in. Now they don't always reach those areas, but once I'm out I watch them to see if my appraisal is playing out, and if not, then I just buy back whenever I think the bottom has been reached. I think women are particularly suited to this...we are the ones who will go to the store and comb thru racks to find a bargain.. men just want to go in and get what they want, buy it and leave, lol! By my philosophy, I now want Cohu to go on sale again. This stock seems like a really good one to use my system on...It trades in really nice waves, with a few spikes, I'm assuming around earnings, every year. I think I can build a very nice position in it. |
