Have you ever wondered why Chevron pre-sells the output of new LNG plants to utilities BEFORE Chevron invests their capital into the project?

Most other firms just "feel lucky". How sensible is that?

With China having ended imports of US LNG, there's not a glut of LNG but there is a glut of LNG from the US.

The Spot Market for LNG is relatively small. Most prefer to lock in their supply.

Maybe Trump needs to make a breakthrough by raising import tariffs on Chinese goods to 200%. The import / export sector of the US economy is only 18%. Go for the gold¡!
