Howard,

thx for the info. after talking to SQNT, i moved my 1Q down to 0.14 to 0.16 as well (back on jan 7) from $0.19. IMO they did not give good enough reason for beatable 0.10 in 1Q

if they do 0.45 in 4Q then that makes .95 for fiscal.SQNT is committing to 35 to 40% earnings growth for 1998 fiscal which makes for $1.28 to $1.33...$1.31 avg...which is 10% lower than Laura S. estimates...analysts almost always lower their estimate by 10% for growth firms as we get closer so it looks about right

SQNT shout trade 18 to 23 PE according to SQNT's growth rate estimate...which means SQNT's target should be between $24 to $26 using conservative estimates..of course, mkts trade in excess so we could see upside close to $32

but if SQNT holds to 0.10 in 1Q during conference call, we are sunk. this baby goes to $15 easy. again, at 0.10, they have no shot at $1.31 unless they score a huge one

cheers
