Hmmm.......... So SSW shares would be absorbed into this Atlas Corp on a one to one basis., eh.

I wonder what the incentive the investors will get to approve the merger.

APR, which leases more mobile gas turbines than any company in the world, will be acquired in an all-stock transaction valued at $11.10 per share.
we know what will be offered to the private company... but if Atlas Corp shares are that price , investors in SSW lose since SSW shares are already worth $11.36. Those APR private investors get a bonus while SSW absorbs $300million in debt.

Without more information I don't see the advantage to SSW investors in this deal.... It may also affect the growth of the existing SSW share price.

what is your opinion on this????

UE

We have 2 months before the meeting... at the first sign of a significant down turn I would issue a limit stop loss on the shares. with this news I can see them falling back to $11.10
