KVH presentation was by far the most information we have had at one time. Sounded like they had a pretty good turnout. Great job by KVH!!
Nice to hear they are going to promote Agile plans harder. 30,000 L band opportunities out there. 9 months on average to get their return on equipment. That is better than I had anticipated.
I was questioning value of IOT, but it was well explained. Much more possible income there than I anticipated. Key is to get 4, 5 or more equipment manufacturers on board as soon as possible.
smaller or nominal manufacturers with probably use the intervention for $99 a minute.
Potential for photonic chip is tremendous. As stated by MKVH that will be on the back half of 3 to 5 years for doubling size of the company. 160 million dollars increase on average of 4 years is pretty aggressive.
Q&A was full of information. Cost of Agile plan equipment, info on yacht airtime potential, cost of photonic chip and how easy it is to change the value (accuracy) of fogs, the confidence of staying on a majority of 30+ automotive companies, confidence in TacNav picking up. (We should hear more about that old TacNav for close to $40 million for middle east country) soon as MKVH stated in conference call they would be addressing it end of this year. That would be a great addition to the 22 million backlog. This would be nice as A_PNT was discussed and it doesn't sound like there will be a lot from that this year. Although it was mentioned they were also involved with Lockheed/ Raytheon product for additional units after another review happening later this year.
Buyback was brought up, and sounds like there going to support it pretty heavy at this price range. I hope they do up until at least the $13/$14 range. I was a little surprised how much selling there was at $11. May take an additional share repurchase to do that, which they stated was possible if staying in this price range. I was in favor of a dividend, but this works just as well if not better. KVH chart looks pretty interesting.
MKVH stated there would be more Q&A during tour and lunch. As good as the presentation Q&A was, it would have been nice to get in on that also. If anyone happened to be there it would be great to hear about it.
I noticed in the Institutional holdings at end of the quarter, there was some additions made.
Be interesting to see how quick this can get going. Coming in 3 months, the earnings estimates for next year. Should be interesting.
