At this point no one, not JIMMY, PAUL, FRED, or anyone, knows how much, if any, alluvial ore is contained within the boundaries of FL.

It could be a lot, or it could be a figment of imagination. However, running with the assumption that we have a lot(if we're going to speculate....) It would be my opinion that the road to glory would be much less bumpy. Acceptance by the conventional mining industry would be much greater because it would be something that they could understand without going out on a technological limb.
Weather Naxos would be able to prove up a couple or a couple of hundred million ounces of course remains sheer speculation. but it is sheer speculation that I am happy to join in:-)
