Does anyone know what kind of relationship ASND has with ATT?
Actually, AT&T WorldNet has been using Linvinston PortMaster 3 for a while to support 56K Flex. They are looking at TNT as an alternative platform so as not to rely soly on a specific platform. The one refered in the MS conf. is the CBX 500/GX 550 multiservice edge/core and OC-3 B-STDX 9000 FR combo, much like the Williams contract. None of the rev. from Worldnet has been counted yet - unearned rev., until 98. If Worldnet purchases TNT, it would be gravy. Now Gary, you might want to ask why it has not been announced yet.

Your reading of tea leaves would have approached an art form had you asked this question that late in 12/97 when mgmt knew it would exceed 4Q97 est. and was comfy w/ FY98 why it didn't buy back a few million shares using its large cash position to tell the world that it had faith in the co. future when the price is in the low 20s thereby boosting the bottom line (EPS) in addition to the top line rev. growth.

BTW, don't expect much insider selling this time as the last option reprice in Nov 97 at $24 11/16, employees are barred from exercising options for 3 months for those who chose to have their granted options repriced.
