Imagine Jefferson meeting Reagan and wondering how he was going to pay for all his spending while he was cutting taxes and then watching in amazement that nearly every state in the Union wanted more of his free stuff.

History will say that's the day the US ceased to be a superpower. Instead, we became a country of morons, who spend money we don't have and give away money that my generation's children's children haven't earned yet.
