I know...it's a real predicament kind of situation.
The whole ball of wax has to be approached a step at a time, with the first arriving "problems" prepared for first.

Proper location that my own research made me comfortable with was first on my own priority list.

The probability of food shortages coming well before the real "dust"-up makes food/water security a top priority.
After that back-up heat and power generation.
And on down the list.
Each person will have their own best-suited list to make for themselves.
However fast or slow paced things seem to go, it'll all arrive come across a timeline.
